Job Summary

A temporary (maternity cover) vacancy currently exists within Mid and East Antrim Borough Council for the following post and applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced candidates:-

Education Officer Waste Operations

37 hours per week

Salary Scale P01 SCP 33- 36 £29,909 to £32,233 per annum

Duration – 10 months

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB

Responsible to the Waste Operations Manager for the day-to day management, Recycling Performance and the Waste and Environmental awards.

Ensure that service specifications are met in full, quality targets are achieved and education and environment function is developed to its full potential.

Develop and implement Environmental Education and awareness programmes to householders, schools, businesses community groups and Council employees.
