Macmillan Move More Co-ordinator

37 hours per week

Scale SO1, SCP 29-31, £26,470 to £28,221

Duration: Fixed Term for 3 years

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB

The Macmillan Move More Co-ordinator will lead on the development, management, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of Move More Mid & East Antrim.

This role will be responsible for implementing the Macmillan Physical Activity Behaviour Change Care Pathway, ensuring that people living with and beyond cancer are aware of the benefits of physical activity, that they are provided with the support and encouragement required to develop and sustain an active lifestyle, and that a diverse menu of appropriate and high quality physical activity opportunities are accessible for people living with and beyond cancer in the Mid & East Antrim area.

The Macmillan Move More Co-ordinator will be employed and hosted by Mid and East Antrim Borough Council, and will be line managed by the Leisure Services Manager. The postholder will also report to the Move More Mid and East Antrim Steering Group, a strategic partnership involving a range of key stakeholders with the responsibility for the strategic management and governance of the project.
