OPERATIONS

HOME SAFETY OFFICER

SO1 SCP 29-31 (£25,951 – £27,668)

The post of ‘Home Safety Officer’ is an exciting opportunity within the Operations Department, reporting to the Principal Environmental Health Officer. The post holder will be expected to assist in the development of the Home Safety Programme and to develop and provide a range of relevant educational, training and promotional home safety activities. They will develop and maintain high standards of service delivery through partnership working with various external groups, bodies and specialists on a province wide basis.

Recruitment Process

The recruitment process will assess the suitability of the candidates against the requirements for the post including the 7 competencies identified in the Competence Framework for Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend for interview.
