Job Summary

Vacancies currently exist within Mid and East Antrim Borough Council for the following posts and applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced candidates:-

Building Control Surveyor x 3

(2 x 3 year fixed term posts, 1 permanent)

37 hours per week

Salary Scale PO1   SCP 33-36   £29,323 to £31,601 per annum.

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB

To work as part of the Regulatory Service Team to fulfil the Council’s statutory duties regarding the administration and enforcement of Building Control and allied legislation and to provide an efficient, effective, economic and equitable service.

To assist in the delivery of corporate fire risk assessments and disability audits as directed.

To ensure that all responsibilities are carried out in an effective and timely manner to meet organisational objectives.
